David Acosta is the Co-Founder and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of ARBOai. He began his career in the high-stakes world of consulting, guiding major brands and global initiatives for over two decades. In that time, he advised heavyweight names such as American Express, the NBA, and ENS Labs, earning a reputation for blending the highest levels of critical thinking and creativity with tangible results.
Recognizing the powerful role that psychology plays in business, Acosta began focusing on consumer psychology as it applies to ethical persuasion and dark patterns. It is here where he developed the methodology to balancing persuasion with transparency, what is referred to as “honest frameworks” in AI.
Prior to co-founding ARBOai, David launched two other ventures in the Fintech and Simulations sectors. At ARBOai’s parent company, ARBO LLC, David’s industry disrupting strategies contributed to an impressive 1400% revenue growth for 2024 – an achievement that further cements his standing as a driving force in business.
Now as CAIO at ARBOai, he has crafted and introduced the cornerstone of all artificial intelligence efforts, the AI Audit. The AI Audit is critical to the success of any business or operation looking to best assess utilization of artificial intelligence – in any capacity. David oversees all teams in strategizing use case and AI build outs – that go beyond technical novelty and deliver tangible results.
David’s expertise lies in Ethical AI, Explainable AI (XAI), Decentralization, Synthetic Data, Simulation Frameworks, Digital Twins and advanced NLP – with a laser focus on use-case strategy. He writes his own playbook, in an industry that often focuses on blind technical builds (pure technical vs. outcome-focused approaches)and remains the gatekeeper of overengineering and wasted time.
His ability to merge creativity, AI expertise, and business acumen distinguishes him as a critical and unmatched authority in the AI space. By contextualizing AI within business strategies, David ensures that every solution he creates addresses the right problems, even those yet to be identified and translates to operational ROI.
He believes that high-quality human-AI interactions create feedback loops that refine AI through human engagement, leading to higher-quality outcomes – whether it be the finance, political or military sector.
This, Acosta says, is how mass adoption of artificial intelligence is achieved and believes that the operations that apply this method will lead their industries and thus the march into The Intelligence Age.
And it is in this Intelligence Age where he firmly believes humans can and must continue to maintain hold of the helm – not allowing artificial intelligence to become a superintelligent liability.
David currently is working on Counter AI Intelligence concepts, developing frameworks capable of anticipating and neutralizing rogue AI scenarios or builds (existential risks [xrisks] before they have the opportunity to derail organizations or even entire industries. This research culminates in an upcoming white paper that will detail his approach to pre-emptive AI contingencies – a natural extension of David’s passion for turning bold, disruptive technology into a strategic asset.
Throughout his journey, one theme remains constant: David continues to possess the ability to see what’s next before it becomes the norm. Armed with extensive marketing insight, keen consumer psychology savvy, and a relentless focus on why technology should exist, he has established himself as an indispensable resource for businesses ready to harness AI for 10x+ gains.
The connector of dots: taking the same technology everyone else has and weaving it into solutions far more potent and future-proof.
In an industry full of noise, David has defined the new standard in Artificial Intelligence use case – further cementing his place as a visionary in the AI, Simulations, Decentralization and Extended Reality [XR] space.
